Some analysts are predicting that the digital dentistry market will be worth around over
$1.8 billion by 2029, up from around
$900 million in 2021.
Worldwide, there are around two million dentists and four million dentists’ chairs (for treatment by
hygienists, assistants and others). As populations grow and increasingly age, those numbers too are
expected to grow significantly. The World Health Organisation predicts there will be 2.1 billion people aged over 60 worldwide by 2050, up from 900 million in 2021.
